I sewed pearls into the centres of the flowers and left the frayed edges alone. I like the slightly shabby look.
Although I'm not wearing the purple headband, I thought I'd post this picture of me at my brother's wedding. Sometimes it's nice to have a face to put with the blog posts! By the way, I did the flowers too - you can see a bit of my bouquet here.
Corinne you look beautiful in this picture and from reading the past few blogs it looks like you gals pulled off a wonderful wedding celebration. I love shortbread and it looked delicious. Also the basket was so pretty. I really appreciate a wedding with a lot of home made touches as compared to everything catered. Means so much more.
