Project # 25 -- Scottish Inspired Purple Floral Wreath

This project was a special request from my mother for my grandmother. My 90 year old grandmother is in a long term care home and my mother wanted something cheerful and a little bit Scottish to hang on her door. This is what I came up with! I started with a twisted twig wreath and some faux foliage and flowers. I wove the ivy, pussy willows, flowers and of course thistles into the twigs and hot glued everything. I topped it off with a purple and green tartan bow.
I hope she likes it! This will be going on her door very soon.

  2. This is so bright and cheerful and I am sure she will love it. Everyone walking by will comment on it and she can proudly say my grandaughter made it for me.
