Another Hallowe'en project that I'm about to send in the mail to Stampington.
I drew and painted a portrait of a ghosty lady psychic I call Madame Pieinskya (Pie-in-sky-a) and put it into a small gold frame. I glued a jointed skeleton with rhinestone eyes to the side of the frame so that it dangles and the joints all move and rattle.
Underneath the frame is a ouija board with a polymer clay skull and candle sitting on it. To the right of the frame is a polymer clay raven sitting on top of a pile of books, the top one is called "Forget Me Not", which I thought was kind of appropriate.
The whole tableau is on the top of a trinket box covered in black and orange paper and tied with a ribbon. Fingers crossed Stampington likes it!

OMG, Corrine. You have outdone yourself here. I can't believe that creepy-cute face and the attention to detail.
ReplyDeleteI know I will see this in a Stampington publication!

Corinne, I was wondering why many of my Halloween/macabre images were so popular at this time of year and now I understand -- a Stampington affair. Magazines do have to think months in advance....Now I get it. I love your creation, especially Madama Pieintheskya. So expressive! Bonne chance! I hope you get published ...again!
